The Elementaries of Salvation

( At least according to my understanding )

Yahshua/Jesus saves us from sin. But just how does that work? Certainly it's not as simple as just "believing" that concept or else wouldn't the devils be saved too?

It works this way: Yahshua saves us from sin. Yahshua is The Word made flesh. The Word is the instructions given by Yahweh to His people. Disobeying those words is what sin is. If we follow that Word we are not sinning.
Example: The Word says you shouldn't murder. If you obey, or be a follower, of that Word and do not commit murder you have been saved from the sin of murder.

Yahshua also taught us to take it a bit further. He taught the spiritual aspect of those instructions. He did not "fulfill" those instructions so that we don't have to. He fulfilled it because we have failed to do it as intended. Thus by His "grace" a way is made.

He taught that not only should we refrain from the act of murder but we shouldn't even think to murder someone.
So, if we keep our minds stayed on The Word and follow that Word we will not sin. Therein are we saved from sin. The Word, Yahshua, has saved us from sin.

Good Counsel, Good Food, Good Grief

( I insist on long run-on sentences so be forewarned )

It hurts the heart when your good counsel is refused. It's like knowing the secret to life and no one cares to hear it or thinks it's applicable in their life. And Satan is laughing "Shut Up! No one wants to listen to you". He knows you threaten his goal of stealing away their life when you bring such information. Unfortunately people are more comfortable following the masses than stepping out with the few on a narrow path.

I have noticed that learning the truth about obeying Torah/Yahshua not only opens your eyes to the truth of scriptures but the same people begin to care what goes into their bodies via food consumption, medicines or other man concocted "remedies". (they start taking care of their temples) It's like when we start feeding our spirit man the proper nutritious diet of The Word it begins to play out in our physical lives too. The physical man starts to follow the spiritual man and healing can begin on the outside too.

So I'm beginning to understand why so many that don't seek scriptural truth are still as blind and don't care to learn, nor believe there is a reason to, to be informed of what goes into their bodies. Of course it goes without saying that there are a lot of health enthusiasts out there that could care less about The Word of Yahweh so I guess that's kinda' like whitewashed tombs.

In other words, for the most part, the same people that don't seek the truth in Torah and think whatever they grew up with concerning their "religion" is just fine and dandy are also just fine and dandy with whatever goes into their bodies as long as "everybody's doing it". (and most of these same people gag and frown at someone eating a dog or cat but have no problem slurping down greasy hog meat.... ugghh... I use to be one but The Truth has set me free)

Knowing that most people think we've fallen off the deep end and are teaching some strange thing when we share the truth of Torah I guess they also think the same when you try to get them to pay attention to what they allow in their bodies. But I guess they would since most believe the lie that our Savior changed the Father's will and declared anything OK to eat. Oh that people would soon wake-up.

Herein is where this scripture comes into play:
Ecc_1:18 "For in much wisdom is much grief: and he that increaseth knowledge increaseth sorrow." It's not talking about geometry, eh? When people refuse your good counsel you really take a blow to the heart.

Appointed Times

Disclaimer: To those who would assume it, no I'm not trying to "teach" just sharing my thoughts.

"Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, Concerning the feasts of Yahweh, which you shall proclaim to be holy convocations, even these are my feasts" (Lev. 23:2).

Are you keeping Yahweh's appointed times or some that man made up? Many call them "Jewish feasts" but that comes from a lack of understanding scripture. Yahweh doesn't have two sets of rules for two different people. He has only got one people and one set of kingdom instructions.

Many like to wave around Col 2:16 "Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:"
But in context this is referring to people that were coming out of pagan worship with all of it's multitude of rituals and rules that Paul later refers to as "commandments and doctrines of men", and they were being ridiculed by others for keeping Yahweh's appointed times while turning from those man appointed times of that day. Like it is today when someone finally gets eyes to see the truth that Yahweh reveals to them and they stop participating in Christmas and Easter and the likes, which are man appointed celebrations and instead start keeping the ones appointed by Yahweh. People seem to get all upset and look at you funny or accuse you of trying to be "Jewish" when you choose to observe His celebrations. It's very clear in Lev. 23: 2 that they are "Yahweh's appointed times" and not just for the "Jews" to celebrate.

Further on in verse 17 which reads Col 2:17 "Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ." Paul was telling them not to let anyone judge them for keeping Yahwehs' appointed times except for the body of Messiah. In most translations you will note that the word "is" is in italics or brackets. This is noting that the translators added that word. Maybe it didn't make sense to them and they were trying to "fix" Paul's letters. But in the light of truth adding "is" makes no sense at all.
Note also in verse 17 Paul refers to the appointed times of Yah as "a shadow of things to come". This is after the death and resurrection of Messiah. This is referring to the fact that not everything has taken place yet. All of Yahweh's feast are memorials and/or shadow pictures of something else we look for. We know that the spring feasts have all become memorials that we keep and we continue on with the fall feasts as well as in anticipation of what is to come. Yahshua said himself that until ALL is fulfilled and until heaven and earth pass away that not one jot or tittle would pass from the commandments and keeping the appointed times are included in that.

Christmas and Easter was certainly "fun" as a child but when you learn that Santa and the Bunny are lies it loses it's thrill until you turn your focus strictly on the decorating and cooking and partying. Then it becomes a money burden to get the perfect gift or decorate with the latest fads. One can try to make it more special by zoning in on referring to it as "Christ's" birthday but then you find out it's not even His birthday beside the fact it's nothing we were ever commanded to observe. Not to mention how the world has painted one out to be "Scrooge" if they don't go along with this world-wide festive celebration. Surprised by the "world-wide reference"? It's accepted far more than most realize. But the biggie is when you actually start doing some research and begin to see how much of the festivities are rooted in some of the very things that Yahweh says NOT to do when worshiping Him. And you begin to see just how far removed we as believers have merged away from Yahweh's will and straight into the deception of our enemy which is all a result of not obeying Yahweh in the first place.

Yahweh refers to His people as "stubborn" or "stiff necked" several times in scripture. In what we call the "old testament". There is even one word that translates to "stupid", so far as I have learned it.
And still, many of us are "stubborn". We don't care to take the time to study anything that comes along and does not line up with what we already believe. We are "stiff necked". We refuse to turn to anything but that which we "know" and are comfortable with.
And sadly we can very much be "stupid". I say that in the meaning of being ignorant. We are certainly ignorant of the scriptures.

It's a great time of year to reflect on what we've been living for. What we look forward to in our future. And what's it all about. I would like to submit to all my family and friends that find most of what I post disturbing or strange at best to really stop and think about what you're life is all about. If it's all about the here and now and the worldly dreams of fame and fortune, having a good time or the saddest one of "just trying to make it", with no consideration of eternity, I wish you all the best. But if you will... reconsider. Sadly, too many believe that they can live their life here just as they desire with the thought that when they die they automatically go to "heaven". They sing praises of getting into heaven yet are clueless to the rules of the kingdom of heaven.

We are offered a chance at eternity with the Creator of all there is. A kingdom where our blessed and awesome Messiah Yahshua/Jesus will be King. But there are conditions. No, you can't earn your way into it. The conditions are laying down your life according to your will and trading it in for the King's will. Living a life patterned after His. His was a life that was pleasing to the Father because He lived according to Yahweh's will. The "gospel" is not just learning that Yahshua/Jesus died for our sins and you go back to life as usual. No, the gospel is also the knowledge that the kingdom of heaven is at hand. Yahshua bought back our place in that kingdom. And if we are subjects in a kingdom we are subjected to those kingdom rules. We are called to "follow" Him. The call is to return/repent, come back to the ways of Father Yah's covenant with His people.

We should stop living to fulfill the desires of our flesh which is contrary to the spirit and trade it for living a life that is patterned after the will of our Creator Yahweh. He already says He will give us all that we need. He does say that there are blessings to gain when living according to His will. So really "laying down your life" is not such a bad thing. Living the kingdom rules in Yahshua comes with the promise of eternal life to boot. Scripture refers to His people as "saints". Unfortunately most people view a saint to be someone that the Roman Catholic Church proclaims to be. Or maybe someone who has done them a favor or good deed.
Scripture says in Rev_14:12 "Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus."
So the saints are those that profess Yahshua as Messiah AND keep the commandments. The commandments are the kingdom rules. The covenant.

The only drawback is that it's not the most popular lifestyle according to the world right now. As a matter of fact it is so contrary to the ways of the world that the world hates it. But that's OK. The god of this world and it's kingdoms will soon be gone and the kingdom of heaven with Yahshua reigning will be established. And Yahshua said that if the world hated Him they would hate us also. That is, if you are being a real follower of Him.
Joh_15:18 "If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you.
Joh_17:14 I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world." Are you of the world or the kingdom of heaven?

So who and what are you living for? Take some time and look into the appointed times of Yahweh. See how it is that He desires for us to celebrate and worship Him. And really, the only reason anyone would think that keeping Yahweh's appointed times is a burden or strange is because they are so far removed from His will in the first place. Most of us grew up with Christmas and Easter and the likes. Just like anyone who grows up with Buddhism or Hinduism or Islam etc. but growing up with something doesn't necessarily make it the will of Yahweh now does it?

So in light of the fall feast days that are upon us whether Yahweh's or mans....and knowing most everybody I know personally will be planning on anything but the fall feasts of Yahweh, my prayer is that you will search them out. See what they're all about. Afterall, if you claim to be a believer in Yahshua Messiah they are the appointed times that He celebrated. And in the words of the beloved Apostle Sha'ul/Paul in
1Co_4:16 "Wherefore I beseech you, be ye followers of me.
1Co_11:1 Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ.
Php_3:17 Brethren, be followers together of me, and mark them which walk so as ye have us for an ensample."

And to those who do keep Yahweh's: Have a very blessed time.
Shalom Aleichem

"They despise this move by the Holy Spirit..."

Just like there are some nasty people who claim to be Christian such as the "Nazi" Christians or "Skin Heads" (or whatever they call themselves) that you wouldn't want to be associated with, there are many that are also labeled as "Hebrew Roots learners" or "Torah" obedient etc that have some nasty attitudes too.

That in NO WAY negates the Truth that is being revealed to the numerous ones that are having the blinders removed from their eyes and returning back to the Ancient Paths that our Savior followed and instructed us to follow also. Hence, the whole purpose of the admonition to "repent".

They are a stumbling block to the truth and will be held accountable for that one day.

Also there are wolves in sheeps clothing that are really quick to accuse the truth of being wrong and they do it by promoting the traditions of man to be what is truth and not what scripture literally says.

They despise this move, this call back to the ancient paths by the Holy Spirit because it is shattering everything that they stand for; And either pride is keeping them blind to the truth or they just don't want the truth at all. They exalt the behavior of those that have the nasty attitudes as if they represent the whole of anything "Hebrew" or "Torah" related and try to debunk it being anything of the Holy Spirit. They ridicule and mock the very truth they them selves need.

I pray that people are not so easily duped into believing that they are accurate representatives of the great work being done by the Holy Spirit. It should be very obvious that the enemy will have the truth to be, what appears to the world, wrong, bad, cultish and he will do whatever it takes to cause the least to the greatest to stumble and go down with him.

Remember, the path is "narrow" that leads to life. A good clue would be that it's not the popular vote or in sync with the majority.

(Mat 7:14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.)

Do not be so worldly that you can't see the truth because it doesn't fit into that world. The truth is ill spoken of by the enemy, as well as those blind to the truth. So if you're hanging around a "religion" that, for the most part, the world doesn't have a problem with, maybe you need to re-evaluate that whole system.

Yahshua/Jesus didn't come bearing news of some new religion that will make all the world come together and accept any and everything just for the sake of peace. No. He came promoting the Kingdom of heaven, the will of Yahweh. A kingdom that will be under the rule of Yah's Torah where Yahshua will reign as King enforcing that same Torah.

(Mat_4:17 From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.
Mar_1:15 And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel. )

I pray you desire the truth more than worldly entertainment which can be used to keep you so preoccupied that you don't have time to seek it.

Consider...

Yahweh does not change!

Malachi 3: 6 For I am the LORD, I change not;

But many have believed Satan’s lie that He changed in His Son who came in the flesh in Y’shua/Jesus... but neither did He …nor does He change according to Hebrews 13: 8 "Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever." As a matter of fact what Hebrews does talk about changing is the "priesthood" as Messiah Y'shua is now our High Priest. This of course will also bring changes within the "law". This in no way implies any changes in the standards Yah has laid out for His set apart family in His instructions or Torah.

The law/Torah is holy, and the commandment holy, and just and good. But many have believed Satan’s lie that it is bondage or that it was nailed to the cross. Just read Romans 7: 12 "Wherefore the law is holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good". It can't be both bondage and holy.

Colossians 2: 14 says “the handwriting of ordinances that were against us were nailed to the cross and taken out of the way”. Many erroneously believe that is referring to Yahwehs’ commands.
How can His commands be ‘bondage” or “against us” when Proverbs 6: 3 says this about His law, “For the commandment is a lamp; and the law is light; and reproofs of instruction are the way of life.”

All of Psalms 119 is about loving and cherishing Yahweh's law and delighting in all of His counsel. How can it be anything but good for us? Would a God of love give us instructions that were too hard to bear or not for our good? Just what kind of Father do you believe He is?

Is it possible that Paul spoke of more than one "law" and maybe there was only "one" English word to use for translating all of them? That would certainly show that we have not been "rightly dividing the word of truth", would it not?

If Yahweh's commandments/ law is "the way of life" and Satan wishes to destroy your life, don't you think one of His plans would be to try and steal from you "the way of life"?
What better way to steal that from you than to convince you through a slick twisting of scriptures and what they really mean. Peter warned about the writings of Paul being twisted by those unlearned in the scriptures.

Many wrongly say that no one can obey all of Yahweh’s instructions but that’s just another lie from Satan. For it is the very death of our Messiah that is mocked with that proclamation. His commandments are His definition of love.

Y'shua's death is what sets us free from sin. And you are made free from the “law of sin and death” through the cross. That does not mean that you no longer have to worry about your sin, on the contrary,
Hebrew 10: 29 says, "Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?"
His death has made it possible for you to be able to obey with a desire in your heart to do so. Read Jeremiah 31: 33 But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts;
Do you not understand what it means to have His Torah written on your heart. That is the “new covenant”! It’s called grace. But again, you have believed the lie that grace gives you a license to throw out all the instructions that Yah gives and you can now make up your on standards for living. What did Paul have to say about that:
Romans 3:
31 Do we then nullify the Torah through the belief? Let it not be! On the contrary, we establish the Torah.

Most try to claim someone is merely trying to “earn” their salvation when they speak of obeying Yahweh’s laws. Oh really? What did Y’shua/Jesus say about His commandments?
John 14: 15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.

Most believe Y’shua/Jesus gave a “new” commandment, but they need to learn how to rightly divide the word because “HE” does not change it is the same from the beginning.
2 John
5 And now I ask you, Kuria, not as though I wrote a fresh command to you, but that which we have had from the beginning: that we love one another.; 6 And this is the love, that we walk according to His commands. This is the command, that as you have heard from the beginning, you should walk in it.

Many say that it’s only a law of love now, but we need to understand that love is what was taught from the beginning.
Matthew 22:
37 And Jesus said to him, “ ‘You shall love the Lord thy God with all your heart, and with all your being, and with all your mind.’ 38 “This is the first and great command. 39 “And the second is like it, ‘You shall love your neighbour as yourself.’ 40 “On these two commands hang all the Torah and the Prophets.”

We need to give it a good study and see that all of those instructions that we have allowed Satan to convince us to be bondage are the very instructions of our Father on how it is “HE” wants us to express that love….towards Him and our neighbor.

He has now made a way for it to be possible for us to obey those instructions but we are too busy trying to convince ourself and others of a lie instead of taking the time to “prove it” with the scriptures. 1 Thessallonians 5: 21 says, "Prove all things; hold fast that which is good. 22 Abstain from all appearance of evil."

We are clearly told in scripture NOT to let anyone outside of the body of Messiah to judge us in food or on Sabbaths or feast days, ...but because of a lack of understanding and everyone just rehashing what someone else has taught, most of us believe that that verse tells us we can eat whatever we want and call any day a sabbath and disregard the appointed times of our Father Yahweh. They are erroneously called the "Jew's holidays". Maybe that's because they were the only ones who were keeping them. There again, the term "Jew" has been used to mean different things. When will we learn to rightly divide the word?

Now here is the one that really blows the mind:
Do you really think that those who are trying to show you that it is a good thing to obey Yah and to follow His instructions are the ones that are preaching “another gospel” or… are leading people down some wicked cultic path? Or maybe "they" are the ones scripture speaks of about "falling away in the last days". Really? If so, here is your logic: “Look at those people doing what the scriptures say…Look at those people following those “feast days of Yahweh”…look at those people who are “keeping His Sabbaths”….the nerve of them folks trying to be so obedient to the scriptures, which are the instructions from our Creator”.
???
Can you not see how wacked that view is?
Go and meditate on Psalms 119. Consider it diligently.

Do we really think that all those instructions in His Torah/law were given and all that blood was shed just so one day He could tell us that those things are “old” and passed away …that they no longer apply…and that somehow “we” are more special than all those just because we have some philosophical understanding and get a warm fuzzy feeling with the head knowledge of the Messiah" and now all we have to do is stay busy with "this worldly life" and call on Him when "we" need it, until He "snatches us away from the hard times ahead"? As though "we" are above being tried in the fire. That "rapture before tribulation", is just another lie. He said we would have to endure tribulation and the world would hat us just as it hated Him.
We should stop assuming that the first part of the bible is only about stoning people and bloody sacrifices. Was our heavenly Father not worthy of animals sacrificed in His honor or to glorify Him; Yet animals are slaughtered all the live long day for our gluttonous consumption without a second thought.
All of His words were given for our instruction and correction. His words are life. His commandments are how we determine what "sin" is.
We need a savior because we know that we have sinned when we understand what sin is after learning it in His word. If there is no more instructions as to what sin is, how then do you tell someone they need a savior?
And after we have met our redeemer in Y'shua Messiah and accepted His blood as our atonement it should be even more of a pleasure to obey our Father and apply all of His instructions to our life, not toss them out as though they are some burdensome bother that had us in bondage.

One of the biggest lies of all is to believe that it doesn't matter anymore. IT DOES matter. It's a blood covenant now. He gave His life. No one took it. Don't let it be in vain for you.
Yahweh have mercy on us all.

Only Yahweh can open the eyes of the blind, so may it be that none of us will assume that we have it all figured out and have no further need to search out the riches that He has provided in His word.

Consider these matters diligently and prayerfully desiring to see the truth from Father Yah.

And That's the "Good News"...?

And so the great commission was to go out into all the world and share the "good news".

Which apparently was:

"God's instructions were nailed to the cross.

Worship the Almighty Creator however you want.

Even mix your worship with pagan elements; After all, time has erased their meaning so God don't mind it anymore. I guess He does change for stuff like that.

There are no set apart days anymore; That stuff about the Sabbath being a “sign forever” was just temporary.

Those animals that eat refuge and other diseased things that were created to help clean up things on this earth magically become clean and designed for human consumption, when they enter through the mouth so eat whatever you want.

Put all of your efforts into gaining riches. You know? Being worldly and living the “American Dream”.

Love means tolerate anything; So don't go hating or avoiding anybody for their sexual preference or whatever they do that’s different than you.

All you really gotta' do is believe; Just like the devils believe.

You really, really don't have to be holy, “set-apart” from the world. Just blend in and follow whatever everybody else does. It's all good."

Just remember to say your prayers every now and then. Pay the pastors and evangelists good salaries since they do all the seeking on your behalf. Just overlook that little part in the NEW word of God in 1 Timothy about there being no mediator between you and God except “the man Christ Jesus”. We got pastors now that do that kinda’ stuff for us. Saves us a lot of time and trouble.

Because all that really matters is that you love God. If you get that mushie feeling inside then you’re good to go. But loving Him is not according to how “He” says it in those instructions, the Torah; The ones that He gave us because He loves us and wants us to be blessed. You know? Those instructions that King David exalted and wrote so much about in the Psalms? Psalms 119 The whole chapter!
No No! Don't go by those instructions.
Just love Him however you decide!
And love your neighbor as you love yourself. Again not according to God's instructions since they were “done away”, just whatever you decide. Or just figure it out as you go.

And that's fulfilling ALL the “law” just like Jesus did right? And if we do just like he did we can rightly call ourselves his followers.

Wasn’t all that “law” stuff called our “school master” anyway, which was just to lead us to what we needed all along?; The Savior.
And you know what we do when school is out? Throw out everything we learn! Never use it again! And forget about it! Right?

Just never mind that the prophet Jeremiah said that God would write it all on our hearts. We know that it was all nailed to the cross.

And that’s the “good news”!

NOT!!!

I do hope that it is understood that I wrote this being rather facetious. And trying to bring to light how the truth has been twisted and distorted to appear as though it is the very opposite of what it truly is.

"Get In The Game"!

Because others are still blind is it wrong for me to rejoice that Yah has opened my eyes?

Because others seem content in the traditions they have grown to love is it wrong that I rejoice in learning His appointed times?

Because others are comfy right where they are is it wrong that I celebrate coming out of Egypt as though it's wrong to even speak of and compare to where I was verses where I am now?

Because others refuse to think that they could possibly be wrong is it wrong for me to rejoice that Yah has shown me that His chosen diet really is better for me?

Because no one has reached perfection yet is it wrong for me to rejoice that I have grown if even in the slightest in His truth?

Oh but I am in a race! Running for the prize!

I will rejoice at every hurdle I clear and every turn I hold. Heck, I'll even stop and help a fallen mate get back on track. That is love, if they'll have it.

But I will keep at the race and I will do it with zeal.

It's not pride at all. It's the spirit of joy! And the rejuvenation of life that I receive in this race that keeps me yelling at the bench warmers to "Get in the game!"

How could it possibly be wrong to bid someone to live?

Eze_33:11 Say unto them, As I live, saith the Lord GOD, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways; for why will ye die, O house of Israel?

"Deu 30:19 I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live: Deu 30:20 That thou mayest love the LORD thy God, and that thou mayest obey his voice, and that thou mayest cleave unto him: for he is thy life, and the length of thy days: that thou mayest dwell in the land which the LORD sware unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them."

My friend.....
